Lesson 6: Puff the Magic Dragon

The story of Puff and Jackie Paper is a sad one. A boy and his magical friend that travelled the world, enduring pirates and receiving royal treatements. He roars and Jackie watch his back. The best team one can create, a perfect companion. But one day Jackie grew up and travels the road without Puff. Left alone, suddenly Puff aint strong nomore. Lost his fun and friend, Puff succumb to his loneliness, back to his cave and stayed. Autumn and Honah Lee means nothing.

So what Jackie grew up and Puff aint so magical anymore.

So does everyone elses. We always have something we'd treasure but as we grew up, the treasure changes. We all do that eventually. It got me wondering, ain't it a sad thing to leave the things we love dearly? and what if we were Puff, won't we be sad and lonely?

It's a sad thing to leave a childhood friend, especially when it got you wondering whether you'd be remember or forgotten. It's just sad...

A song originally sung by Peter, Paul and Mary. Heard it for the first time at SuperShow2 Bukit Jalil. They say its a song about Marijuana and War items. My innocent mind tells me its the Dragon. Just Dragon.

---------------------------------------------------
This is to all my people out there. Puff once live in all of us. It died because we feed on reality so much. Take time to walk and look back where you left. It'll be huge to see how much you've grown. It'll be touching to see how much you've lost too.

Puff the Magic Dragon

Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And froliced in the autumn mist in a land called Honah Lee,
Little Jackie Paper loved that rascal Puff,
and brought him strings and sealing wax and other fancy stuff. Oh

Together they would travel on a boat with billowed sail
Jackie kept a lookout perched on Puff's gigantic tail,
Noble kings and princes would bow whene'er they came,
Pirate ships would lower their flags when Puff roared out his name. Oh!

Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And froliced in the autumn mist in a land called Honah Lee,
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And froliced in the autumn mist in a land called Honah Lee.

A dragon lives forever but not so little boys
Painted wings and giant strings make way for other toys.
One grey night it happened, Jackie Paper came no more
And Puff that mighty dragon, he ceased his fearless roar.

His head was bent in sorrow, green scales fell like rain,
Puff no longer went to play, along the cherry lane.
Without his life-long friend, Puff could not be brave,
So Puff that mighty dragon sadly slipped into his cave. Oh!
